Imogen Poots Replaces Brie Larson in Wes Anderson-Produced Project

Earlier reports stated that both Owen Wilson and Brie Larson would join the cast of Peter Bogdanovich’s comedy Squirrel to the Nuts, but today, The Wrap reports that Imogen Poots will replace Larson as the lead female role.

The producing team of Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach is gearing up for the shoot after delays that date back to 2010. Wilson is set to play the male lead, Poots the famale and Olivia Wilde is set to play a therapist. Jennifer Aniston, Richard Lewis, Cybill Shepherd and Jason Schwartzman are also in talks for the film.

The story, written by Bogdanovich, has Wilson playing an anxiety-ridden Broadway director and Poots playing a prostitute who somehow manages to find her way to Broadway. There is currently no release date for the film.
