Led Zeppelin's John Bonham Could be the Next Hologram Musician
Led Zeppelin’s late drummer John Bonham could be the next musician to come back as a hologram.
Bonham’s son, Jason, who played with the band at their last official show at London’s O2 Arena in 2007, told Legendary Rock Interviews that he would love to play alongside his father in his tribute band, The Led Zeppelin Experience.
“When I first started doing this I was working with some of the people behind some of the biggest tribute tours like Pink Floyd Experience, The Beatles and now I’m doing it,” he said. “It’s imperative that I continue putting together the best shows and take it to the next level. I’m talking to people about holograms and my dream is to do the hologram drum solo with dad next to me.”
He added, “Yeah, so .that is my goal, my dream and we’re just trying to figure out everything that we can do with this show.”
Last month, bassist John Paul Jones shot down Led Zeppelin reunion rumors, saying that “2014 is full of opera” for him right now. Meanwhile, usually-busy frontman Robert Plant said he has ’“nothing to do in 2014,” hinting he would be up for it.
