of Montreal Announces Fall 2013 Tour

Earlier this month Of Montreal announced the release of their 12th full-length album, lousy with sylvianbriar, a release that was swiftly recorded on a 24-track tape machine. Kevin Barnes teamed up with producer Drew Vandenburg (Deerhunter, Toro y Moi) to work on the forthcoming album, which is set for an Oct. 8 release. Now the band has followed up the release of their lead single with the announcement of a full U.S. tour in support of lousy with sylvainbriar.

The Georgia based psych-pop crew will begin their tour with a hometown show at the 40 Watt Club 10 days after the release of their album. Shortly after their early East Coast dates the band will be joined by Seattle surf-rockers La Luz.
