Watch Beck Perform Song Reader with Franz Ferdinand, Jarvis Cocker and More

While the rest of us over here in the states were watching fireworks, fans at London’s Barbican were treated to a special Fourth-of-July Beck performance.

The musician performed his 2012 album Song Reader—which was released solely as sheet music—live for the first time ever. Beck was joined onstage by a number of guests, such as Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker, Franz Ferdinand, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Beth Orton and The Mighty Boosh.

Beck is also currently on a limited summer tour around the U.S. and will stop next in Wantagh, N.Y. on July 27.

Check out the dates and watch some fan-shot footage from last night below:

“Don’t Act Like Your Heart Isn’t Hard”
