Patton Oswalt, Jason Schwartzman, Billy Dee Williams Do Karaoke at the Star Wars Cantina
What do you get when you put Patton Oswalt, Jason Schwartzman and Billy Dee Williams inside the iconic Mos Eisley Cantina? This glorious piece of…whatever this is.
Among its other famous non-Wars patrons (see: Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Noel Gallagher, the Stone Roses and David Beckham’s Adidas promo), it’s now Schwartzman, Williams and Oswalt’s turn to sidle up to the bar. Well, Oswalt is technically the only one at the bar—Williams is off singing a version of Coconut Records’ (Schwartzman’s band) “West Coast” and the song’s composer is presumably off doing Schwartzman-y things. Carrie Keagan even shows up for the karaoke anthem, “Sweet Caroline,” alongside a few additional names, all to raise awareness for the marathon that will benefit California’s Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Shot on the Samsung Galaxy S4, the video is definitely great, lighthearted fun, but admittedly, we’re not really sure what the hell is going on.
