California Wives to Play Session in Chicago Presented By Aloft Hotels, Paste

For the second summer in a row Paste is hitting the road, partnering with Aloft Hotels to bring one-of-a-kind live performances to cities all over the country. The 20-date series has included bands like Futurebirds, Kingsley Flood and Cary Brothers, and now we’re taking to the Midwest with dates in Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. For stop two on our mini-tour, we’re pleased to announce that Chicago’s own California Wives will be joining us at Aloft Chicago O’Hare.

California Wives is a Chicago band that has been playing together since 2009. The group features vocalist/keyboardist Jayson Kramer, drummer Joe O’Connor, bassist Dan Zima and lead guitarist Graham Masell. California Wives draw influences from several different genres with a heavy emphasis on songwriting and lyricism, so catching them in a smaller setting is sure to be a treat. Join us on Monday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. for an intimate live video recording with California Wives by RSVPing here.
