Karen O Joins Arcade Fire on Soundtrack for Spike Jonze's Her

Spike Jonze’s upcoming feature Her already has Montreal music majesty Arcade Fire confirmed for its soundtrack, but that doesn’t seem to be the only prolific artist contributing to the film.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs posted on Facebook that Her also includes a new track from Karen O, which you can hear in the film’s trailer. Called “The Moon Song,” the ditty is a soft acoustic piece that you can sample at the 1:37 mark in the video below.

Karen O also contributed music to Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are, providing tunes like the adorable “All is Love” for the adaptation. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman seems to be becoming a soundtrack staple, having lent her vocals to other films such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Frankenweenie, Jackass 2, I’m Not There and 2005’s House of Wax.
