A smartwatch may be in your future sooner than you think.
Bloomberg reports that Samsung’s smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear, may make its debut next month on Sept. 4.
Details on the Gear itself are sparse, but according to Bloomberg’s sources it looks like the this piece of wearable technology will boast voice-calling capabilities, web browsing and an email function. The Gear is also supposed to run on an Android operating system.
The watch will not, however, have a bendable screen at its unveiling next month. Samsung is reportedly still working on that feature.
In addition to the Sept. 4 launch of the Samsung Gear, it’s also worth noting the company is expected to unveil their new smartphone/tablet hybrid, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, on the same day.
