The Cure Added to Voodoo Experience Festival

While New Orleans’ Voodoo Experience was already boasting quite the impressive lineup, the upcoming festival just got a whole lot sweeter. The festival already had two huge headliners with returning acts like Pearl Jam and Nine Inch Nails, but now the festival has added The Cure to its jam-packed lineup.

Fresh off the heels of two huge performances at Lollapalooza and Osheaga, The Cure will be joining the likes of How To Destroy Angels, Bassnectar, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Gaslight Anthem, Paramore and a wide array of other artists at the Festival Grounds of City Park in New Orleans. The recently reformed act hasn’t visited New Orleans since a two-night stay in 2000, so to say that the band’s appearance comes as a welcomed surprise is a massive understatement.

The festival takes place from Nov. 1-3 with various pricing options available. As of now a three-day pass will run you $175 with VIP costing $500. The festival also offers a hefty “Artist Credential” package that provides two all-access tickets that get you backstage, side-stage, free golf cart rides across the grounds and other additions for $2,500.

For a look at the full lineup or to purchase tickets you can head over to Voodoo’s website.
