Walkmen's Hamilton Liethauser Calls on Vampire Weekend, Shins, Fleet Foxes Members for Solo Album

As Pitchfork confirms, Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser is currently working on a new solo album, an effort that will include help from—deep breath—mega-producer Richard Swift (who also currently plays with The Shins), Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and Fleet Foxes/Cave Singers member Morgan Henderson, a former member of Seattle’s Blood Brothers.

The group can be seen in the Instagram video below, where they’re working at Vox Studios in Los Angeles. The report notes the album is expected this spring, but nothing is confirmed.

The Walkmen’s most recent album, Heaven, was released last year.
