Watch Arctic Monkeys' Trippy Video for "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?"

With less than a month to go before Arctic Monkeys’ fifth studio album, AM, hits the shelves, the British rockers are continuing a steady release of promotional material with a trippy new music video.

Following videos for previous singles “R U Mine,” and “Do I Wanna Know,” the English four-piece recently revealed a new clip for the album’s third single, “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High,” featuring lead singer Alex Turner’s own late-night adventures.

In line with the song’s subject matter, the five-minute video shows an unsteady Turner as he attempts to make his way to what he hopes will be a post-bar hook-up, but a series of hallucinatory obstacles (and one unresponsive girl) stands in his way. The video was directed by Nabil, who has previously worked with artists like Kanye West, Bon Iver and Frank Ocean.

AM is out on Sept. 10 on Domino. Check out the video above.
