Apple's iPhone Event Confirmed for September 10
Apple has announced that a press conference will be held next week where it is presumed the company will unveil its new iPhone and software.
This morning, Apple began sending out invitations to the debut of its new product next Tuesday. According to CNET, the invitations feature a simple design with the Apple logo, along the single phrase “This should brighten everyone’s day.”
Details on what upgrades Apple will be making with the new iPhone are still unclear. It is rumored that the company may even be unveiling a cheaper, plastic version of the iPhone. Images for the possible “iPhone 5S” and “iPhone 5C” have been circulating on the internet, but nothing has been made official yet. It is also assumed that Apple will introduce the new iOS 7 software.
The event will take place Sept. 10 at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.
