CBC Music Backstage Pass Vows to Bring Back Late-Night Music TV
Aiming its finger at the likes of networks like MTV and VH1 (as seen in the posters below), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is offering a late-night TV option for music lovers with a show titled CBC Music Backstage Pass. The show made its premiere on Sept. 6, but you can watch the entire first episode in the player above.
The show—which kicks off with an appearance from The Sheepdogs, who will explore Sun Studio in Memphis—will feature in-depth profiles, exclusive performances and more from Canadian acts. The first episode features appearances from Walk Off the Earth, Classified and David Myles.
The show is set to begin airing Friday nights at midnight on CBC, directly after Stroumboulopoulos Tonight.
