Danny Brown Denied Entry to Canada, Cancels Gigs
On the eve of making two Canadian stops on his 2 High 2 Die tour with Action Bronson, Danny Brown tweeted that he has not been allowed entry into Canada. Citing undisclosed problems at the border, Brown also added that he wasn’t able to get through even though he made an effort to take care of some necessary paperwork ahead of time. His two shows in Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver have been canceled, but he will pick back up with Action Bronson at Rock the Bells this Sunday.
This is the second time Brown hasn’t been allowed into Canada. In 2012 he was turned down, along with A$AP Rocky and ScHoolboy Q, for undisclosed reasons. His new album OLD is due out Sept. 30, and his first two dates following the release of the album are supposed to be in Toronto and Montreal. Both dates are currently scheduled as planned.
