Intricate Star Wars Busts Created From Tech Parts
One man’s trash is another man’s upcycled Star Wars sculpture. Self-proclaimed “junk artist” Gabriel Dishaw works with metal and mechanical objects to create intricate busts of some of our Star Wars favorites.
The artist’s passion for Star Wars is at the heart of his art. Darth Vader and C3P0 are reoccurring muses in his Star Wars Series.
The sculptures are made of found objects including typewriters, computers and other devices. “My mission is to create dialogue and help find creative ways of dealing with this discarded tech in an environmentally sound way,” Dishaw wrote on his website.
Many of the Star Wars sculptures are for sale at his website, with price tags fit for art collectors and super fans.
