Ed Helms, the actor best known for his roles on television series The Office and the Hangover film franchise has started his own production company, Deadline reports. Pacific Electric Picture Co. will be an offshoot of Universal TV, the studio that backs The Office, and will also grant the studio a first-look deal.
Mike Falbo, who has produced for Mosaic in the past, will serve as the Executive Vice President of Production & Development for Pacific Electric Picture.
“I’m so thrilled to bring Mike on board the creative gravy train at Pacific Electric Picture Co,” Helms said. “He’s a genuine, wonderful guy with great taste and a phenomenal work ethic.”
Helms also added that Falbo’s “great hair” would serve him well in his new position.
Helms has already sold his first television project to ABC through his new company, a comedy written by Mike Arnold (of Archer) about lawyers.
