The Flaming Lips to Release New EP Based on Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game

After signing on to write a song for this year’s film adaptation of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game, Stereogum points out that the Flaming Lips will actually be putting out an entire EP of music dedicated to the sci-fi classic. The EP, titled Peace Sword, will be produced by the band’s frequent studio collaborator Dave Fridmann and will include the songs “Think Like a Machine, Not a Boy,” “Wolf Children” and “Assassin Beetle/The Dream is Ending,” though none of these songs nor a track list for the EP have surfaced yet.

Peace Sword is slated for a Nov. 29 release via Warner Brothers. The Ender’s Game film, which will star Ben Kingsley, Harrison Ford and Asa Butterfield, hits theaters Nov. 1.
