Anchorman 2 Promotion Chugs Along with New Trailer, "Scotchy Scotch" Ice Cream Flavor
Do you like to eat ice cream? Do you enjoy a nice pair of slacks? Well Ben & Jerry’s might be able to help you out with one of those, now that they’re putting out a new flavor dedicated to the upcoming Anchorman sequel. The new flavor is titled “Scotchy Scotch Scotch,” an ode to Ron Burgundy’s hard liquor of choice).
But those of you hoping your next pint of Ben & Jerry’s will come with a complementary splash of Glenlivet might be disappointed: the scotchy-scotch in question will, of course, be a mixture of “butterscotch ice cream and butterscotch swirl ribbons.” The new flavor will only be around for a limited time, but it’s always possible that successful sales might make Scotchy Scotch Scotch a permanent fixture among some of the elite Ben & Jerry’s pop-culture tie-ins like Stephen Colbert’s AmeriCone Dream and Burlington, Vt. favorite Phish Food.
The film’s official YouTube page also posted a new trailer soon after the ice cream announcement. You can check it out via the YouTube video above. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will hit theaters Dec. 20 and is directed by Adam McKay.
