Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea DLC Confirmed for Holiday Release
It’s been almost seven months since the release of Bioshock Infinite, which took players to the skies in an alternative reality of 1912, yet it’s still receiving plenty of acclaim and discussions. But those looking for more from Bioshock creators Irrational Games will only have to wait until the holidays for their next bout of Bioshock Infinite DLC.
Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 1 features Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite in a story set in the world of Rapture from the first two games in the Bioshock universe.
The DLC looks like it’ll have a noir-style to it, set in 1958 and while Rapture is still functioning. According to Joystiq, Irrational Games’ director and co-founder Ken Levine stated that the first episode would be released before the holidays, even though it still isn’t finished and that the release date of episode two is still uncertain. The second episode will allow the player to play as Elizabeth, who will be playable for the first time.
Both Bioshock Infinite DLC packs will be $14.99 each.
