British Pop Artists Illustrate the Future According to Children for London Museum Campaign
Ad agency giant AMV BBDO recently partnered with Central Illustration Agency to ask children a simple question—what will the future look like? According to Fast Company, the agencies then joined with famous pop artist Sir Peter Blake and over two dozen other artists to illustrate the answers (some of which included magic milk and giant robots) for London’s V&A Museum of Childhood. The artists visited the museum in September and received briefs of the children’s ideas, then got down to work illustrating the imaginative descriptions of life in the future. According to LBB Online, at an Oct. 12 event in connection with England’s Big Draw campaign ‘Draw Tomorrow,’ the museum hosted 12 of the artists as they completed the artwork onsite under the direction of the child visionaries. The illustrations are now being worked into a series of posters to be featured across the U.K.
