David Fincher, Brad Pitt Adapting Charles Burns' Black Hole
David Fincher’s career has been littered with possible film projects that never made it to the screen. But thanks to Plan B, Brad Pitt’s production company, it looks like one of his projects long considered dead might be getting a second chance.
Plan B has revealed its lineup of upcoming films which includes an adaptation of Charles Burns’ graphic novel Black Hole. Fincher was originally attached to the project in 2008, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, Fincher is still involved in the project.
Burns’ book is about a group of kids in high school set in the 1970s who have to deal with an STD outburst that could turn them into mutants.
Fincher is currently in production on his adaptation of the Gillian Flynn novel Gone Girl, starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Patrick Fugit and Tyler Perry.
