Fox Will Develop New Comedy Series from Melissa McCarthy
Melissa McCarthy is on a roll.
The comedian and Mike & Molly star has just sold her third consecutive television project, Deadline reports.
Fox purchased the new comedy series, which McCarthy developed in collaboration with her husband and actor-writer Ben Falcone as well as actor Larry Dorf, who wrote its script. The series, which does not yet have a name, chronicles the lives of two wildly different men who become stepbrothers as a result of their parents’ marriage. Warner Bros. TV will produce the series in addition to having produced the two other series that McCarthy sold along with Falcone and Dorf to CBS.
All three will executive produce the forthcoming comedy.
