Harrison Ford Open to Appearing in Blade Runner Sequel
Ridley Scott has been discussing the possibility of his 1982 sci-fi classic Blade Runner for some time now, but in a recent interview, Harrison Ford has said that he would be open for reprising his role of Rick Deckard.
In an interview with IGN while doing press for the upcoming Ender’s Game, Ford mentioned that he had been discussing the possibility of Blade Runner 2. Ford—who famously has stated he was against the original’s voice over—joked that if voice over was used in the sequel he could always cut his tonsils out.
Ford already has quite a few sequels on his plate, including Anchorman 2, coming out later this year, and the upcoming The Expendables 3, in addition to the rumors of a role in the newest Star Wars films.
Ford’s Ender’s Game will be released Nov. 1, with Scott’s latest The Counselor arriving on Oct. 25.
