Kings of Summer Star Lands Lead in Jurassic World
It’s quickly looking like the much-anticipated Jurassic Park sequel (reboot?), Jurassic World, will be a magnet for this summer’s breakout young actors.
Fresh off the news that Iron Man 3 actor Ty Simpkins has landed a lead role in the Colin Trevorrow-directed franchise installment, The Hollywood Reporter now claims that Nick Robinson, star of this summer’s indie favorite Kings of Summer and a cast member on the ABC Family sitcom Melissa and Joey, will also be joining the cast.
Robinson will reportedly play Simpkins’ older brother in what is being constructed as an “ensemble” project.
Bryce Dallas Howard is also set for a significant role, though any character info (or plot description) has been kept under lock and key.
The film, which will be produced by Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley and executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, is currently set for a summer 2015 release.
