Limited-Edition Turntable Made from Barrel of 40-Year-Old Whisky

Not much goes together better than a good drink and a great record. The folks over at Linn, a Scotland-based audio company, are making it easier than ever to enjoy both. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the company has teamed with Highland Park distillery to offer a limited-edition Sondek LP12 turntable.

The Sondek LP12 was the product Linn launched as a company with back in 1974. Now, they’re making 40 more to mark the occasion and offering them with a specially bottled single-malt whisky. The casing for the turntable is made from the oak casks the whisky was matured in for, you guessed it, 40 years.
