Beck Announces New <i>Song Reader</i> Show

Back in July, Beck recruited a number of high-profile musicians to perform his Song Reader collection live at the Barbican Centre in London. Today, the singer has announced that he will be performing the second installment of his Song Reader show at the end of November.

According to Rolling Stone, the show will take place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and is being presented by eyeglasses company Warby Parker. Artists joining Beck for this show include: Jack Black, Van Dyke Parks, Jenny Lewis, Childish Gambino, John C. Reilly, Moses Sumney, and returning for a second appearance, Jarvis Cocker. The Song Reader session will also feature the Los Angeles Philharmonic and be conducted by Beck’s father, David Campbell.

In addition to announcing the Song Reader shows, Beck also revealed that his new album Morning Phase will be released February 2014. Beck’s Song Reader performance will take place Nov. 24.
