Listen to Josh Tillman's Soundtrack for The History of Caves

Josh Tillman, best known for finishing second in Paste’s 2012 Album of the Year voting, is back with a score for a new short film called The History of Caves. (Okay, fine, Tillman is best known as Father John Misty, and before that as the Fleet Foxes’ drummer.) The film was written and directed by Emma Tillman, his wife, who shot it in an abandoned house in the Hollywood Hills. It tells the story of Evan Snow, a womanizing watchmaker, and the three children who try to sabotage his relationships because they want their father to themselves.

Starting on Black Friday, Nov. 29, Sub Pop will sell 2,000 vinyl pressings of the soundtrack on its website. There’s no official release date for The History of Caves, but it will be available on Netlfix, Amazon and iTunes soon. Stream the soundtrack here (via CoS), and check out the film’s trailer below.
