Kicking off in Louisville, Ky. on June 16, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds will hit the road next summer for a brief tour of the U.S.
The announcement follows a sold-out North American tour in 2013, supporting the release of Cave’s fifteenth studio album Push The Sky Away, and comes two weeks before the release of Cave’s Live at KCRW for Record Store Day’s Black Friday sale. The album, recorded at Apogee Studios in Los Angeles, features live recordings of songs off PTSA and includes two bonus tracks “Into My Arms” and “God Is In The House.” Live at KCRW will be available as a double vinyl on Record Store Day and as a digital download on Dec. 3.
Although lineups for the major festivals have yet to be released, Cave fans may want to start thinking about saving for a Bonnaroo ticket. The annual festival consistently takes place sometime in the first two weeks of June, making it a strong possibility that Cave will make an appearance on the farm. After all, it’s only a three-hour drive from Manchester to Louisville. Check out the complete list of tour dates below.
