It’s not Pineapple Express 2, but it’s probably the next best thing.
Stoner-film hero Seth Rogen and producer Scott Rudin have announced plans for an untitled film project with the actors from Workaholics. Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson, also known as the Mail Order Comedy Troupe, will all star in the upcoming movie. Holm is set to write the script, and Kyle Newacheck, series co-creator who also plays Karl on the show, will direct the movie.
Producers for the film include Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, Isaac Horne and Seth Rogen’s Point Grey with Evan Goldberg (writer Pineapple Express, Superbad) and James Weaver.
Producer Issac Horne told Variety that the timeline for the film has not been set and that the project is not related to Workaholics.
