Big Ears Music Festival to Return in 2014

The critically acclaimed Big Ears Music Festival is returning to Knoxville this March for its first event since 2010.

Big Ears ran in 2009 and 2010, and was widely hailed by critics for both lineup and atmosphere, taking place in various venues in downtown Knoxville. The festival went on hiatus between 2010 and 2013, but returns this year with a lineup including Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Steve Reich (this year’s artist-in-residence), John Cale (co-founder of Velvet Underground), Ensemble Signal and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood.
