Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars… Renewed for Third Season

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld will return to drinking coffee on camera in early 2014, but not from his usual spot at Monk’s Café.

Sony Television’s online video network, Crackle, announced today that Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee has been renewed for a third season.

Comedians In Cars… features Seinfeld doing what he does best: absolutely nothing. Well, that’s not entirely true. For each webisode, Seinfeld takes a fellow comedian out for coffee to catch up and shoot-the-shit for an hour or so. The “Comedians In Cars” part comes from Seinfeld driving each comedian around in a different, classic set of wheels for each episode.

Seinfeld tweeted out the announcement yesterday afternoon, with a link to a new promo video for season three.

Previous seasons have included comedians like Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais, Don Rickles, Seth Meyers, David Letterman, former Seinfeld collaborator Larry David and co-star Michael Richards.

Season three of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee starts Jan. 2, 2014.
