This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live featured the return of “Bill Brasky,” but one actor was missing from the popular sketch.
Tim Meadows has appeared in four previous Brasky sketches but was not invited for the most recent, as Vulture points out. He wrote on his Facebook page that he was so hurt by this that he would never watch the show again, claiming, “I guess it just dawned on me that I mean NOTHING to them
“I’m just being overly sensitive,” he added. “It doesn’t matter in the long run. I’m grateful for what they did for me. But everyone[sic] in a while as a fan and a alumni, it stings a little to not even be considered as someone they would like to come back around.”
However, Meadows appeared to have had a change of heart after communicating with other former SNL actors Laraine Newman and Chris Rock via Facebook.
“I talked to a friend on the show who said it WAS a last minute sketch,” he wrote. “I acted like a baby. I’m happy for all of my friends’ success and will always be grateful and proud to have been a part of SNL.”
