Bob Dylan Soundtracks Chobani Superbowl Ad, Set to Star in Chrysler Commercial

The countdown to the Super Bowl and its commercials has begun, and in easily the most odd ad-related news of the day, Bob Dylan has apparently licensed his 1966 single “I Want You” to be used in a plug for Chobani, which sees a very large grizzly bear ravage a small mountain town grocery to get some honey-flavored yogurt. Because why not? Surely this will have many of us singing, “I want you, I want you, I want you so baaaad, Honey Chobani I want you,” as we engorge ourselves upon Greek-style yogurt just a day after the Big Game.

Dylan is also set to star in a commercial for Chrysler during the Super Bowl, which we can only hope will be as opaque as the bard’s 2004 Victoria’s Secret commercial or his ad for the 2007 Cadillac Escalade (of course, no Chrysler commercial—maybe even any commercial—will ever be as intense as Clint Eastwood’s from 2012).
