Comedy Central Orders New Ben Stiller Series Big Time in Hollywood, FL

Imagine “the directorial style of Hitchcock” paired with “the acting prowess of Streep, the budget of House of Payne, and the nutritional value of Velveeta” and you’ve pretty much seen a preview of Comedy Central’s new series, Big Time in Hollywood, FL. According to Deadline, the network ordered 10 half-hour episodes that will tell the story of two “delusional brothers and self-proclaimed filmmakers” played by Alex Anfanger and Lenny Jacobson who have to fend for themselves after being kicked out of their parents’ house, leading them on an “epic journey in pursuit of their American dream.”

The show, in part produced by Stiller’s production company Red Hour Films, was created by writer/producers Anfanger and Dan Schimpf (Next Time On Lonny). Stiller will also write for the show, and star alongside Anfanger, Jacobson and Stephen Tobolowsky.
