Full House Guys Reunite to Help Jimmy Fallon

January 30, 2014  |  11:45am

Have mercy! With Jimmy Fallon struggling to sleep last night despite the snuggliness of his motorcycle-emblazoned pajamas, both scared and sad to move on from Late Night to host The Tonight Show, this was a job only the Full House dads could truly handle.

Thankfully, Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier gloriously rose to the challenge like a phoenix from the ashes, reuniting in Fallon’s reconstructed ‘90s bedroom to offer sage advise and help the host-to-be (again) make a significant life transition. In the process the guys revisited all of their greatest bits and catchphrases, including some great back-and-forth between Uncle Jesse and Uncle Joey before Saget reassured Fallon, “You can host a show, play guitar and do impressions—you’re just like Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsopolis and Joey Gladstone all rolled into one!” The sitcom stars then lulled Fallon to sleep with an a cappella rendition of Elvis’ “Teddy Bear” (though perhaps in a key or two lower than how the boys used to sing it to either half of the Olsen twins), saving the day once again.

Mercifully, fans won’t have to wait long to see another Full House reunion, as the dads are also set to appear in a Super Bowl commercial for Oikos Greek Yogurt this Sunday.
