The much anticipated OutKast reunion at Coachella will also lead to the duo headlining at Governor’s Ball NYC Music Festival this summer, Rolling Stone confirmed. The hip-hop group, which formed in 1992, has not had a performance in New York City in over 10 years.
The music festival is held at New York City’s Randall Island Park from June 6-8. Governor’s Ball has been teasing concert-goers with its lineup through their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts with photos since Jan. 8. Artists such as Japandroids, Bloc Party, Kanye West and The Avett Brothers were part of the 65 bands that performed last year at the Governor’s Ball.
Tickets to Governor’s Ball go on sale next week along with the announcement of the complete lineup here.
