Jimmy Kimmel Live is heading to Austin. The late night talk show will broadcast from mouthful of a venue Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts for five consecutive nights, from Mar. 10-14, during the ever-growing music, comedy, film and tech conference.
Not surprisingly, Kimmel plans to film segments around Austin during the brief residency. His man-on-the-street bits are the best in the business, so there’s no telling what hilarious material he’ll gather in a city that prides itself on how weird it is.
“Austin is one of my favorite cities and there is no place more fun than SXSW,” said Kimmel. “I can’t wait for March 10th. I’ll be the guy covered in BBQ sauce.”
