Louis C.K. Announces Release Date for Directorial Debut on <i>Letterman</i>

Earlier this month, we learned that comedian Louis C.K.’s rarely seen first movie would soon be available for download. Last night we finally found out when. Appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman, C.K. set a Jan. 29 release date for Tomorrow Night, his black-and-white directorial debut. So…tomorrow.

Starting Thursday at noon, fans will be able to buy Tomorrow Night for $5 through C.K.’s website, making this the first wide release of the film shot over 15 years ago. This is good news for more than just C.K. fans, as Tomorrow Night features early performances from current comic stars like Steve Carrell, Amy Poehler and J.B. Smoove.
