This week, new details emerged about one of Tina Fey’s first post-30 Rock projects, a currently untitled comedy for Fox. According to the Hollywood Reporter, comedian Margaret Cho has joined the show as Laura Thibault, a college president who has decided to admit men to her women-only school. Also cast in the Fey-produced comedy are Bonnie Dennison and Jack Cutmore-Scott, who will play a student opposed to the change and one of the college’s first male attendees, respectively.
Comedy fans might recognize Cho from her work on 30 Rock, making the new project, known as Cabot College, the second collaboration between the stand-up comic and Fey. On 30 Rock Cho appeared as a slightly different kind of administrator, playing a memorable recurring role as North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il.
