Catherine Deneuve, Sofia Coppola in Marc Jacobs' Final LV Campaign

Marc Jacobs called in some big names for his last hurrah as creative director at Louis Vuitton. While some thought the Paris show in October would be the last we heard from the American designer for the French label, Jacobs surprised the fashion world with an ad campaign featuring the Louis Vuitton Noé bucket bag… and some of Jacobs’ personal muses.

Sofia Coppola, Catherine Deneuve, Gisele Bündchen, Fan Bingbing, Caroline de Maigret and Edie Campbell all posed with customized versions of the Noé bag including a very feathery creation for Catherine Deneuve and a studded version for Edie Campbell. An exclusive video on the website for Vogue France has Deneuve answering where she would take her Louis Vuitton bag (named the NN14).

“To the roof of the world: Himalaya,” the French New Wave icon states. “It’s very silent… very, very silent, very quiet. Everything is very white and I’m all in black.”
