TBS Orders 13 More Weeks of The Pete Holmes Show

Fans of preeminent Batman impressionist Pete Holmes can look forward to even more superhero spoof-ery in 2014. After a solid seven-week debut last fall, TBS has ordered 52 more episodes of Holmes’ unconventional, sketch-based talk show. Starting Feb. 24, TBS will begin an additional 13-week run of The Pete Holmes Show, airing Monday through Thursday nights.

Stand-up Holmes first showed off his talents as an interviewer in 2011 when he began his You Made It Weird podcast, a semi-weekly talk show featuring conversations with fellow comics. However, the comedian is probably better known as the voice of the E-Trade baby and for his role as Batman in a series of CollegeHumor videos. The Pete Holmes Show has continued this tradition of comic book parodies with its recurring Ex-Men sketch, mocking the somewhat less than amazing talents of Wolverine and company.
