Next month Seth Meyers will say goodbye to Saturday Night Live after 13 years as a cast member and eight as head writer. The longtime “Weekend Update” anchor’s next stop won’t be far, though; in fact, it’s only a few feet away. Meyers will take over NBC’s Late Night for Jimmy Fallon, who’ll be taking Jay Leno’s place on The Tonight Show. His new studio, Rockefeller Center’s 8G, is right next door to SNL’s 8H, on the same floor and everything. We doubt he’ll be getting much of a relocation allowance.
Below is the first promo for Late Night with Seth Meyers, featuring Cecily Strong and a lot of stage equipment.
