Springsteen, Jimmy Fallon Take Aim at Chris Christie with “New Jersey Traffic Jam”

January 15, 2014  |  10:50am

When The Boss makes a Late Night appearance, one of the things we look forward to most is a surprise stage performance with Jimmy Fallon. In the past, the duo has gifted us with “Sexy and I Know It,” “Whip Your Hair” and now another colorful tune: “New Jersey Traffic Jam.”

The Boss sang about none other than New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and the George Washington Bridge lane closures and surrounding traffic jams. Decked out in ‘80s Springsteen attire, the two sang to the tune of “Born to Run” and poked fun at Christie’s recent apology speech (Springsteen said “it was longer than one of my shows.”)

We wonder what Christie, a self-dubbed Springsteen fan, will have to say about this one. Check out the video above.
