Wye Oak Announces New Album and Tour, Share Single “The Tower”

Wye Oak, the Baltimore twosome consisting of Jenn Wasner and Andy Stack, have announced the release of their forthcoming LP Shriek. The duo’s fourth studio album will be out on Merge Records April 29, and the first 1000 copies will be pressed on orange vinyl. Nicolas Vernhes of the Rare Book Room in Greenpoint, Brooklyn co-produced, engineered and mixed the album. Wye Oak are likewise set to tour the United States and Europe in support of the album this spring. Additionally, Wasner has stated in a press release that $2 from every ticket sold will be donated to a local charity of the band’s choosing.
