Brie Larson in Talks for Judd Apatow’s Trainwreck

Lots of progress has been made recently on Trainwreck, a film written by up-and-coming comedian Amy Schumer. Director Judd Apatow, behind beloved shows and films like Freaks and Geeks, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Funny People, agreed to produce/direct the film. And now it appears its cast keeps growing: along with a confirmed spot from SNL’s Bill Hader, Brie Larson is another name attached to the project according to Variety. With her recent rolls in Don Jon and Short Term 12, Larson is definitely an actress to watch.

Larson’s expected role in Trainwreck hasn’t been announced, but Universal Pictures did set a release date of July 24, 2015.
