Dogfish Head Seasonals Get Rock 'n Roll Art Labels

Dogfish Head has tapped Texas-based artist Jermaine Rogers to redesign the labels for their four seasonal beers in 2014. Rogers is best known for his concert posters, which he describes as “weird” in a blog post on Dogfish Head’s site. He’s designed artwork for Radiohead, Eddie Vedder, David Bowie, and Neil Young, among others.

For Dogfish Head, Rogers created a series of creatures that will appear on the seasonal labels and promotional posters for the beers. Aprihop will be the first to appear. Expect a rabid bunny. An equally disturbing (but kind of cute) raccoon, bear, and kitten round out the seasonal lineup.

As if that collaboration isn’t strange enough, Dogfish Head also commissioned Ken Ellis, a punk-quilter out of Chicago, to create a one-of-a-kind quilt to celebrate the brewery’s line of IPA’s. Ellis stitched a scene full of bunnies throwing hops like grenades. Yep.

Look for Aprihop to appear in March. Check out the artwork below.
