Kim Kardashian definitely gets around in the media. From her baby daddy Kanye West attempting to solicit Kim a Vogue cover spot from editor Anna Wintour to the obviously more important butt implant allegations, Kim walks a fine line between stardom and overexposure. Earlier this week, the Kardashian clan made headlines (yet again) when they revealed the next move for their alliterative empire: childrenswear.
The line, Kardashian Kids, has been a sister-act operation spearheaded by Kourtney, who was inspired by her own pregnancy with daughter Penelope and the exhausting search for designer accessible clothing with soft fabrics. As we all know, spending all day in designer boutiques with a triple black super platinum Visa is hard work. And because all children want to dress like Kimmie … Right?
Set to target girls ages 0 to 24 months, the collection (can you even call it that?) will debut exclusively at Babies ‘R’ Us stores nationwide on March 15. But the question on everyone’s mind is really this: Will Kim and Kanye’s infant daughter, North West, wear it?
Probably not. Baby North (Nori for short, if “North” wasn’t short enough for you) has already shown a keen momma-induced obsession with designer clothes on Kim’s Instagram. Therefore, who might be the target audience? Well, parents who want their children to wear cheetah print leggings, of course!
Though overall, there are some cute outfits —especially if you’re an innovative baby looking for ruffles and tiny bows, lacey cardigans and butterfly prints. To see more, check out the Kardashian Kids’ Instagram and Twitter.
