Orange Is The New Black fans, it’s official: Alex Vause is back for most of season two.
Though more recent news claimed Laura Prepon would only be in four episodes of Orange Is The New Black’s next season, creator Jenji Kohan suggested to Us Weekly that she’d be around for a little longer.
“Yes, yes, she is coming back,” Kohan said. “Not the whole season, but… you’ll see her for most of it.”
Prepon’s indecision had fans worried about season two’s storyline; Prepon has a lead role as Piper’s (Taylor Schilling) ex-girlfriend (and sometimes love interest).
But in an interview with TVGuide.com this past October, Kohan said the second season would expand its focus beyond Piper, and give a more in-depth look at characters like Crazy Eyes, Taystee and Red.
“It’s becoming much more of an ensemble,” Kohan said. “As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody’s journey.”
