Pucker Up: New Belgium Goes Sour With New Series

New Belgium’s Lips of Faith Series has been a welcome wave of experimentation and weirdness for the brewery best known for creating one of the most stable “gateway” craft beers in the country (Fat Tire). With the next platoon of Lips of Faith experiments, New Belgium is introducing the Sour Vintage Single Batch Series.

Keep an eye out for La Folie , a sour brown ale that’s aged in massive oak barrels for up to three years, and Transatlantique Kriek, a sour cherry lambic that spent two years aging in Belgium before being blended at New Belgium with a golden ale. Look for the two sours in 22 ounce bombers.
