Seems like every craft brewery in the country has expansion plans in the works, but the expansion announcement from Three Floyds might take the cake. The popular Indiana brewery, best known for its seasonal Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout, has announced that if the tax breaks fall on their side, they’re planning on blowing up their current Munster location to double its current size, from 30,000 square feet to almost 60,000 square feet.
The new space would include a new bottling and packaging line, a tasting room, and a gym for employees. Oh, and a distillery. Apparently, Three Floyds has plans to whip up some high-end whiskey in the near future.
If all goes well, Three Floyds hopes to break ground this summer.
